2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Local City Rides

  • More than 2 hours before pickup: Full refund
  • 1-2 hours before pickup: 90% refund
  • Less than 1 hour before pickup: 80% refund
  • After scheduled pickup time: No refund

2.2 Outstation Trips

  • More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund
  • 12-24 hours before pickup: 90% refund
  • 6-12 hours before pickup: 75% refund
  • Less than 6 hours before pickup: 50% refund
  • After scheduled pickup time: No refund

2.3 Airport Transfers

  • More than 6 hours before pickup: Full refund
  • 3-6 hours before pickup: 80% refund
  • Less than 3 hours before pickup: 50% refund
  • After scheduled pickup time: No refund

2.4 Tour Packages and Rental Packages

  • More than 72 hours before pickup: Full refund
  • 48-72 hours before pickup: 90% refund
  • 24-48 hours before pickup: 75% refund
  • 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
  • Less than 12 hours before pickup: 25% refund
  • After scheduled pickup time: No refund

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, please contact our customer service team at +91 7438 070710 or email us at info@berhampurtaxi.com with your booking details. Refund requests must be made in accordance with the cancellation timeframes specified above.

Refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Cash payments: Refunded in cash at our office or via bank transfer
  • Credit/Debit card payments: Credited back to the original card used for payment
  • UPI/Digital wallet payments: Refunded to the original payment source

Refunds typically take 3-7 business days to process, depending on your payment method and financial institution.

4. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

4.1 Service Cancellation by Berhampur Taxi

If we are unable to provide the booked service due to reasons within our control (such as vehicle breakdown or driver unavailability), we will offer you the following options:

  • Full refund of the amount paid
  • Alternative vehicle at the same price
  • Rescheduling of the service at no additional cost

4.2 Force Majeure

In case of cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, severe weather conditions, road closures, civil unrest, or government actions), our standard cancellation policy will apply. However, we may offer more flexible options on a case-by-case basis.

4.3 Service Dissatisfaction

If you are dissatisfied with our service due to significant issues (such as excessive delays, unprofessional behavior by the driver, or vehicle condition problems), please contact our customer service team immediately. We will investigate the matter and may offer partial refunds or service credits at our discretion.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following charges are non-refundable:

  • Booking fees or service charges
  • Toll charges or parking fees already incurred
  • Additional services requested and provided

  • Missed flights, trains, or buses

  • Alternative transportation costs

Our liability is strictly limited to the refund amount as specified in this policy.
